Race inequality can be understood as unequal treatment or opportunity to a person due to real or perceived physical traits that society deems socially significant, such as skin color. Therefore, unequal treatment and opportunities to a certain racial group can limit their opportunities to strive in society for instance, "the total median income for a white family was $64,427 in 2007 and the total for a
black family was $40,143, according to U.S. Census Bureau data. It is apparent that there is a difference among both racial groups. This can be attributed to unequal opportunity within the workforce. This image reflects how employers might dictate if a person is fit for the job based on their own biases regardless of qualifications and in many cases they do not get the job due to their race.
