Feminist Theory

I believe that Feminist Theory helps explain marriage and family. Feminist theory helps describe the inequalities between men and women. Women are often expected to hold down a job and still be the perfect mothers and wives while men are known as the bread winners and the ones that do the handy work at home. The inequalities in gender roles often cause tension in the family and affect every member and influence the way the children grow up and the views they will have as they get older.  The picture below clearly demonstrates that kids learn the gender roles in the family and they also learn to deal with the inequalities that come with these roles.
