Gender discrimination

In our society we face this divide between women and men in the work area. Especially in pay, promotions, hiring and opportunities overall. Gender discrimination being the unequal and unfair treatment of two specific different genders because of physical differences. Within pay women get around 77 cents to a mans dollar. Also in the issue of promotions we rarely see women in higher portions in the work force because of either attachments to home life because they need To take care of their family. Overall opportunity levels for men and women for certain jobs are just unequal because men are seen to be physically stronger and more reliable. This divide in the work force toward women is oppressing towards them and is unequal.
