I think that the Developmental/Life Theory can best relate to marriage and families. Throughout someones life they go through different stages whether it has to do with being born, to being a toddler then a teen and so on. But it can also have to do with marriage. The stages of marriage can be newlywed, to honeymoon stage to having children to being married for several years. All of these stages develop someone to be who they are and shape them as a person. However, the stages that people may go through will be different depending on how they choose to live whether they do or don't get marriage and such.
