Feminist Theory

Above is a portrait of a woman doing more than five things at once. The feminist theory states that there are inequality and power imbalances between a man and a woman. I find that especially true since I witness it everyday with my own parents. My stepfather stays at home taking care of the kids and cooks, while my mom goes to work. Even though she works full time, oddly I still see her washing the dishes and cleaning up a variety of things. I would assume that since she works all day that my stepfather would do the dishes, but it that is not the case. It must be a cultural thing that a woman is perceived to do all the housework whether or not she stays at home or goes to work.
