Sternberg’s Triangular and Lee’s styles theory of love

Nick and Norah are two teens that meet each other in a club and soon find out that they have similarities such as they both love indie rock. They roam the street of New York looking for their favorite band's (Where’s Fluffy) secret show. Soon both Nick and Norah find themselves in love.

Sternberg’s Triangular theory of love
Nick and Norah both bonded through their likeness in music in which they felt close to each other because they could relate to one another. They shared common interest such as Nick played in a gay band called the Jerk offs and Norah’s father owned a famous recording studio. Their passion for music led to their romance in that they were physically and sexually attracted to one another.

Lee’s styles of Loving
Since Nick and Norah both had a passion for music they experienced pragma because of their recreational pursuits. Norah experienced eros because she had a powerful attraction towards Nick from the moment she first saw him.
